What is Online Counseling?
Online Counseling, Virtual Therapy, or Tele Behavioral Health can be just as effective as face to face therapy. It consists of either a phone session, video session, and/or email/texting sessions. Counselors trained in Online Counseling use HIPAA standards to ensure your privacy and confidentiality.
If you live in the state of Florida, you can purchase the Online Counseling service. If you don't live in the state of Florida, you'll need to contact a provider in your state. It is against most provider's state licensure laws to provide counseling across state lines.
What is Online Coaching?
Online Coaching is a here and now approach that is designed to assist you in bringing out your best! It is often motivational and educational in nature, focusing on your strengths, removing the blocks to your success, and assists in lasting and real change. Coaching differently than counseling stays in the present, and does not seek to diagnose or treat mental health issues. While there is some insight to be gained in coaching, it is contained to discovering what you want out of a situation, identifying what is in the way, as well as how to facilitate lasting change. Are you a potential new counseling/coaching client?
Before you book an appointment, please contact me at 772-631-6138, firstname.lastname@example.org, or fill out thecontact format the bottom of this page. This way we can talk and make sure we're a good fit for each other.
Are you an existing client?
If yes, go right ahead and purchase any service as an add-on to your existing sessions. You may also access the online portal.
What are the online counseling fees?
Fees vary depending on time and service. By clicking on the services and times, a fee is displayed. You may encounter a higher rate for a particular service on off hours. To accommodate I offer some appointments at peak hours, on a limited basis.
How can I make the best of my phone/video session?
Make sure our sessions are scheduled at a convenient time for you.
Make sure you're in a location that allows for complete privacy from onlookers, or from others who may over hear.
Make sure you're not driving or intoxicated during our counseling or coaching sessions.
Do have a note pad, so that you can make the most of our conversations, goals, and objectives.
Do supply me with your phone number when booking this apt.
